Looking to elevate your salads with bold flavor? This Bacon Vinaigrette Dressing is a game-changer. Combining the savory goodness of Bacon Ranch Dip Mix with a touch of sweetness from brown sugar and the tang of cider vinegar, this dressing strikes the perfect balance between rich and refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Bacon Ranch Dip Mix

  • ¼ cup water

  • ¼ cup oil (olive oil or your preferred neutral oil)

  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Whisk it up: In a small bowl or jar, whisk together Bacon Ranch Dip Mix, water, oil, cider vinegar, and brown sugar until well blended and smooth.

  2. Taste & Adjust: Give it a quick taste. Want a little more sweetness? Add a pinch more brown sugar. Prefer more tang? Add a splash of extra vinegar.

  3. Let it Rest: For best results, let the vinaigrette sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. Serve: Drizzle over fresh salads, roasted vegetables, or even use it as a marinade for grilled chicken or pork.

  5. Store: Transfer any leftovers to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Shake well before each use.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Salads: Toss with a crisp spinach salad, topped with crumbled bacon, hard-boiled eggs, and cherry tomatoes.

  • Grilled Veggies: Drizzle over grilled asparagus or roasted Brussels sprouts.

  • Potato Salad: Mix into a warm potato salad for a smoky twist.

  • Marinade: Use as a quick marinade for chicken, pork chops, or even mushrooms.

  • Grain Bowls: Add a smoky kick to quinoa or farro bowls with roasted veggies.

Make It Your Own:

  • Swap cider vinegar for balsamic vinegar for a richer, deeper flavor.

  • Substitute honey or maple syrup for brown sugar for a different touch of sweetness.

  • Add a splash of hot sauce for a spicy twist.

  • Mix in fresh herbs like parsley or chives for extra freshness.
