Looking for a simple yet flavorful way to prepare fish for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion? This Buttery Dill Baked Fish recipe is a no-fuss meal that highlights the fresh, delicate flavors of dill and buttery goodness. Using Delicate Dill Dip Mix, this seasoning blend effortlessly elevates your favorite fish into a tender, mouthwatering dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Delicate Dill Dip Mix

  • 4 to 6 pieces of fish (such as cod, tilapia, haddock, or salmon)

  • ½ stick (4 tablespoons) butter, sliced into thin pats

Directions:

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven according to the baking instructions recommended for your chosen type of fish (typically 375°F – 400°F).

  2. Arrange Fish: Place the fish fillets in a baking dish or oven-safe cooking bag for easy cleanup.

  3. Add Butter & Seasoning: Dot the fish with slices of butter, ensuring even coverage. Sprinkle ½ to 1 full packet of Delicate Dill Dip Mix over the fish, adjusting to taste and number of fillets.

  4. Bake: Seal the cooking bag (if using) or cover the dish with foil. Bake according to your fish’s thickness and type, typically 12-18 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.

  5. Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for a minute before serving. Enjoy hot with your favorite side dishes!

Serving Suggestions:

  • Lemon Rice: Serve with fragrant lemon rice or herb-infused quinoa.

  • Steamed Veggies: Pair with steamed asparagus, green beans, or roasted carrots.

  • Fresh Salad: Complement the fish with a crisp cucumber and tomato salad with a light vinaigrette.

Make It Your Own:

  • Add Lemon: Place thin lemon slices on the fish before baking for a citrusy twist.

  • Garlic Boost: Swap for Golden Garlic Dip Mix for an extra savory note.

  • Creamy Option: Drizzle with a light dill sauce after baking for an extra layer of flavor.

  • Swap the Butter: Use olive oil instead of butter for a heart-healthier alternative.
